2004
Balkan Sport established in May 2004, acquires the distribution rights for Albania of adidas brand. The company grandiosely opened the first adidas store in the main shopping district of Tirana, Myslym Shyri Street.
2008-2009
Balkan Sport had a constant market growth in the years 2008-2009. It managed to open adidas brand stores in a large number of cities in Albania. Because of its excellent business growth, in 2009 Balkan Sport also acquired the right to distribute Reebok to the Albanian market. These years are considered some of the most successful for the company both in its wholesale and retail activities.
2010
Balkan Sport opened its first adidas and Reebok Outlet in Laprake, Tirana, next to the company warehouses and headquarters. This was one of the first genuine Outlet Stores to be opened in Albania.
2012
In the beginning of 2012 Balkan Sport introduced an adidas corner in the luxurious shopping center of Tirana, Coin. In June 2012 Balkan Sport opened a new adidas and Reebok brand concept store in the newest and largest shopping center in Tirana, TEG.
2014
In January 2014 Balkan Sport acquired the exclusivity rights for INTERSPORT in Albania. In September 2014, we opened first INTERSPORT store 1000m2 in CityPark shopping mall.
2015
In 19th of May,Balkan Sport won the best distributor award in South East Europe. In July 2015, it opened a new Outlet Store in Mega Outlet shopping Center in Tirana and it continuous to grow with a new INTERSPORT store in the biggest shopping center, Tirana East Gate. We opened another Intersport store in Vlora city.
2016
In April 2016, the company extended for the first time with a new Intersport Outlet in Mega Outlet shopping center. In August, Intersport keeps extending with a store in the newest shopping center in Tirana, Ring Center.
2017
On March 3d, Balkan Sport has expanded further opening 2 new stores, adidas and INTERSPORT in Toptani Shopping Center. In September, adidas RING and a new INTERSPORT store in Myslym Shyri Street have been opened. In October 2017, the Company continues with the opening of its newest adidas store in Durrës.
2018
In 12th of February, Balkan Sport is expanded with a new store INTERSPORT in Durres. In April, Balkan Sport is expanded with a new store INTERSPORT in"VIVA" Shopping Center in Fier. "The Athletes Foot" Fashion-Sport multibrand, the first of its kind in Albania, opens in August at the "QTU" Shopping Center.
2019
During 2019, the wholesale started growing quickly and was expanded in other cities.
2020
Although in a difficult situation from covid-19, Balkan Sport manages to maintain the absolute position of leader in the Albanian market.
2021
In February 2021, Balkan Sport opened a new INTERSPORT store in the commercial mall Gold in the city of Fier.
2022
In June 2022, the opening of a TAF store in TEG commercial mall followed.
2022
In October 2022, INTERSPORT stores network has expanded further with e new opening in the city of Shkodra.
2023

In September 2023, Outlet Lapraka got fully restructured with a new concept in order to offer the customers a unique shopping experience.
